Week 4: Grant Writing & Funding Opportunities
Discover how to identify foundation, corporate, and government funding opportunities. Learn the fundamentals of writing effective grant proposals, developing compelling funding requests, creating project budgets, and communicating measurable outcomes.
Week 5: Nonprofit Financial Management & Budgeting
Gain practical knowledge of nonprofit budgeting, financial oversight, revenue diversification, and responsible stewardship of organizational resources. Explore restricted and unrestricted funds, financial reporting, and sustainable funding strategies.
Week 6: Marketing, Community Engagement & Fundraising Events
Learn how nonprofits build visibility and community support through branding, storytelling, social media, partnerships, special events, and outreach. Develop strategies for using events and digital campaigns to attract supporters and generate revenue.
Week 7: Leadership, Governance & Nonprofit Operations

Week 8: Capstone Project – Fundraising & Development Plan
Put your knowledge into action by creating a practical fundraising and development plan for a nonprofit organization or community initiative. Develop funding goals, donor strategies, grant opportunities, marketing approaches, and a campaign timeline, culminating in a professional presentation.
